She started meowing and searching for the kid :( Hexenherz posted... Thank you! We got freaked out, the doctor last night was talking about an abnormally large heart and unusual lung sounds. They had radiology examine the x-rays this morning and her heart is fine, but she does have a few lightly fractured ribs. They got her on a few different medications, including one for lung worm which freaked me out but looking it up it seems like it's actually not too dangerous if treated right away and healthy cats can pass an infection relatively quickly. Ugh.Yeez fractured ribs sounds very painful. Good luck man. Taking care of sick kitten is hard work, and to be honest i was plagued with anxiety almost everytime thinking he wouldn't make it. It would feel so good to get him into good health again tho. Compared to the kitten Rivel is very low maintenance.
