You're right that the top tier leftists don't like the democratic party because "it's not left enough" to their taste but at the end of the day MOST of them will no doubt vote for joe biden, hence supporting democrats, then you have the not top tier leftists who will definitely vote biden, then you also have the "i'm not a leftist i'm a liberal eventhough i agree with leftists on everything" people who will also vote for biden, i actually saw a couple examples of this by chance in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak7hXUckJbY as the leftist in the video said "vote blue no matter who" --- Puss in Boots was a good movie and it deserves more recognition ...
