As I understand it, your constitution and laws do allow for self defense, unfortunately self defense usually results in injuries for the people being defended against.@Corrik7 just to add an analogy to this. People can be upset that a big strong person is bullying a weaker vulnerable person and in the same breath be happy to see that weaker vulnerable person snap and punch the bully in the face without it being hypocritical because the fact of the matter is if you spend your entire existence picking on people who can't defend themselves you are eventually going to get your comeuppance. --- Mind post.
