Ratigan's vocals just seem... odd. Like he rolls too many words in a single line and it's just kind of obnoxious. His gang singing isn't better; the "Oh Ratigans" are catchy enough in their simplicity but a step down from something like a pirate sea shanty that has a similar style but better sound. What the song lacks in musical style, it makes up for in a brutal goddamn display of how evil Ratigan really is. It's not often you hear the villain in a kid's movie bragging about drowning orphans. But then one of his gang drunkenly refers to him as a rat instead of a mouse, and as punishment he has the mouse eaten alive.
