That's what guns do. Whether or not the gun is actually fired doesn't change the fact that you're threatening somebody's life to get them to comply. Zeus posted... I don't know what your streets are like, but they were in downtown California. Given how congested those roads get, a skateboard can often be faster than a car. If you can pull a u-turn, the streets aren't that congested. Regardless, staying in the car is generally going to be safer, given that the skateboard is going to lose if it gets into a fight with the car. Zeus posted... Both actions are defensive measures, though, because (and you should really know this by now) people react to threats in terms of FIGHT or flight. That doesn't mean that "fight" is always a reasonable response. That's just a catchy oversimplifcation of the physiological response to sympathetic nervous system activation, not carte blanche to respond to stressful situations with unnecessary violence. --- This is my signature.
