It's entirely normal for hiring staff to feel they are making an objective decision based purely on qualifications, but still have unconscious bias at the same time. If your point is that unconscious bias doesn't exist in the hiring process, well, then you're denying facts --- Take me for what I am -- who I was meant to be.
