Its possible if they are uncomfortable with their mother dating, but its also possible that the kid might have a void in their life because they dont have a father and gravitate towards any male that shows interest. As for disciplining the kid, I hope you realize that those fights can happen even if its your own kid. People dont always agree on children should be raised.
