As for SoE itself, I got stuck in the Roman times, when you were expected to use what you had to buy crap to trade for better gear sodium-chloride posted... Damn. I remember my older brother pre ordering this Zelda OOT package for like $80. It included a gold cartridge, a strategy guide and a year subscription to Nintendo Power. I remember there was a particular time of the month I would heavily anticipate waiting for the next magazine to come in. What a time to have been alive. I think the only time I might have had an actual sub was when they had a promo LoZ headset with the sub. (That or maybe also when they let you use Nintendo points for it?
