The claim seems preposterous and, considering the billions of people on the planet, there are countless others who the absences could line up with (and they're likely overlooking other absences they can't explain through the conspiracy theory, because that's how these things work). The core piece of the conspiracy is built on the latest absence coinciding with Ghislane's arrest when we're in a time in which people have good cause to vanish. In the US alone, there were 4,200 new deaths last week and tens of thousands of hospitalizations.

At another time, there could be a more compelling case, but we're literally in an age when unexplained sudden absences are going to be a norm. Even this board, which has a younger demographic, may wind up having (or had) people just vanish as they seek treatment for COVID
