Apart from one line of "Swearing off men" Dex's sister never mentioned old dude No one mentioned Dexter being shot and he's fucked his girlfriend like 8 times No one has mentioned Doakes. No one cares about Dexter or the kids being (nearly) burned alive in a fire.
