| Kyle1022 07/10/20 5:11:52 PM #65: | Misleading topic. The article suggests it will be extended in some form, just maybe not the $600 per week and maybe something like $300 per week instead. Also it's just common sense. If it's taken away with no replacement then literally millions will be left homeless and jobless, and the economy will tank. Every analyst is saying this. The Republicans don't want the economy to tank because it's all they got, especially during an election year. So even if it's for their own selfish reasons, I don't see the government letting it expire with no replacement. And for the people saying "I can't get my workers to come back because of the $600 bonus!" Um, they ask you weekly if you turned down any work, and if you say yes then you lose your UI. So those people are committing fraud.
