I dont think you realize what a chaotic mess theyve created with conflicting rules and the sheer backlog they have to work through. There is enough reasonable justification for people staying on unemployment during a trying time that it would be impossible to prove intent to commit fraud outside of egregious cases like not reporting income. And speaking of hospitality, theres enough reasonable justification that the job youd be returning to wouldnt be remotely equivalent to what youd been fired from. Direct your anger at the people responsible for the debacle and atrocious working conditions in this country, not poor workers trying to stay safe.
