You're not wrong, but you're hilariously deluded if you think simply voting third party will be enough to change that reality. If you want to make third parties into legitimate options, you're going to need to campaign for them hard. It's going to take a lot of money, a lot of effort, and it's going to be a miracle if you break even 5% of the popular vote, let alone anything remotely competitive. Talking online about self-fulfilling prophecies and the importance of disrupting the establishment accomplishes nothing except to let you pretend to yourself that you're doing something.
And even then, you'd still get a 2-party system, since the winning 3rd party would just replace the GOP or Dems. But that's not how FPtP voting works anyways.

What's really saddening is that no opinion poll on Trump, being general favorability or on specific issues ("Rate how he has handled Covid") has approval lower than about 30%. Which means you could Thanos-snap away that 30%, millions of people, and have a net-gain for humanity in America. It really is a cult.
