She got me some educational books that I did some stuff in but since she kinda mostly just trusted me to do it on my own they were pretty much shoved into my closet and never seen again, unless she asked if I did anything in them that day and I'd show her an old page. She never noticed, and stopped asking when I turned 13. The lady we lived with for a bit told me theres supposed to be someone who comes in and checks on me to make sure I'm getting an education but I've never had that. So I'm not sure if that counts as homeschooling.It sounds like she taught you up to a 3rd or 4th grade level then stopped. We're you ever taught algebra or geometry? That's around 9-10 grade. No that's not homeschooling. Homeschooling has more structure than that and requires you to turn in assignments and take tests just like school....except while at home.
