So just a couple rankings back, I mentioned how many spots Exile went up due to how it sticks in your head and makes you want to belt out its chorus. This fails melodically for the same reason that one succeeded; the song gets stuck in your head with a horribly grating chorus that just makes you want to claw your ears out. There's a lot going wrong in the song, between the half-rapping, and the obnoxious backup, but that "How ba-a-a-ad can I be?" is just the absolute worst. The only thing keeping it from a 1 is the very end of the song, which does manage to have some positive impact. The song also throws any sense of subtelty right out the window, feeling the need to REALLY drive in that this is supposed to be the villain, just in case the kids watching hadn't picked up on it yet. And he's a villain that's particularly easy to hate due to how much he feels like someone you see in pretty much every business, justifying his every action no matter how terrible and refusing to acknowledge the devastation he's causing. It'd be a pretty deep message by kid movie standards, but again, it drills it in way too hard too fast.
