It's the kind of story I'd expect a high schooler to write about their DnD character, except Rothfuss is a good enough writer to make an extremely bland story somewhat entertaining. Are the second book and novella much better? Am I missing something? Why is this so hyped? --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
