Overall jump rope is better imo. Youre getting coordination, speed and timing gains as a great byproduct but jacks have their place too. This is especially true if youre not a coordinated person. It's also easier to do jumping jack variations if you have knee issues too imo. Today for cardio I did jump rope and running in place up downs in between.
