So my bmi read 26.1 at the gym last night. I'm 230 and 6'1. What should my range be?

Well according to the NIH 230 lbs at 6'1" is a BMI of 30.3, which makes you "obese" and is exactly why BMI is bullshit. Objective measurements are the only meaningful way to gauge fitness. Things like body fat percentage and circumference measurements are going to tell you so much more about your health than BMI.

If you are working out consistently and have come to a plateau in your weight loss, then your diet is ineffective and needs to be tuned.
