But before all of this came to light, how is it any different from letting your kid go to the arcade, or the mall, or the movies, and so on? I just don't see a point in bringing up "Hopefully parents learn not to let their kids attend events like these" as if they were seedy, adult-only events to begin with and like it should have been an obvious conclusion something might happen.
