I'm not blaming the parents. The problem is the perpetrators. If the victims decide to go the criminal route, I fully encourage both them and justice. If not, social media will at least cancel these perps.

But there are people here in the competitive gaming scene who've seen it from the inside much more closely than me. If you guys had kids, would you feel safe with them becoming a part of these communities without any parental supervision?

Again, I'm not blaming the parents because most of them probably have no idea this exists at all, and I'm certainly not blaming the victims themselves... but I really doubt I'd be sending my kids to these events if I'm not there with them.
