huh, interesting song. what i really like about this one is how it goes from, like, instrumental baroque pop to david sanborn-style smooth jazz but it doesn't make a big deal out of it at all, if that makes sense. it happens so rarely that i come across a song that switches styles but isn't all like "CHECK IT OUT WE'RE DOING THIS STYLE NOW AWW YEAH" when the switch happens. another good example of this is the 1984 version of bamboozled by love by frank zappa. that one starts out sounding very mechanical and devo-ish and then switches to super regular rock for frank's guitar solo and it's no big deal and they just keep playing in exactly the same tempo. so yeah, i don't think this is a great tune or anything but i do like it and i appreciate it for having an aspect i love in music but almost never find.
