I've been doing this for patients for the last 2 months, when convalescent plasma was first introduced as a potential therapy. We were one of the first handful of hospitals in the US to do this. Trust me its not a cure. It feels like it helps but its hard to tell without actually analyzing the data. I think some people are working on that now. But we are still giving it as a therapy because the potential benefits significantly outweigh the risks, at least in our opinion.
