A study conducted at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden where patients with COVID-19 received transfusions of blood plasma from people who have recovered from COVID got their blood purged of the virus. It sometimes just took a single day for the body to react to the treatment.

Nice
The next step is advancing the study with 100 patients. Half will get plasma and half will not.

I've been doing this for patients for the last 2 months, when convalescent plasma was first introduced as a potential therapy. We were one of the first handful of hospitals in the US to do this. Trust me its not a cure. It feels like it helps but its hard to tell without actually analyzing the data. I think some people are working on that now. But we are still giving it as a therapy because the potential benefits significantly outweigh the risks, at least in our opinion.
