Pretty misleading topic title. They weren't simply just "confronted with an amputee protester". Judging from the other video, they were trying to push people back and clear them from the streets since they weren't moving. The person who is an amputee happened to be in that group and was one of the people who ended up getting sprayed. I highly doubt with all the shields and bikes they could even tell he was an amputee.

If you put yourself in a situation where cops are trying to clear an area and you aren't moving --- things like this can happen

oh shut up. the streets belong to the people not the cops. if people want to gather in the street they can. cops have no right to clear the streets. fuck em all
