Now when company starts congratulating themselves on Twitter for being Stunning and Brave and when they put that relationship front row center in the advertising for the game, that makes it more certain. The game also kind of bludgeons you over the head with it at the start of the game. 9/10 times it is a virtue signal. Druckmann is after those diversity points. Making Ellie gay in the first place is literally Neil chasing that award for being stunning and brave.
