| Quorthon109 06/18/20 1:50:57 AM #10: | I always thought the Southern US accent sounded endearing to UK folks for some reason. Must've read that somewhere. Being from New York, it's hard to imagine any other country viewing the "new yawk" accent in a positive light, or that it's the most representative of people from the US. I'd guess that when most UK people think of an American accent, they think of the most neutral, non-regional accent that you hear from most national newspeople. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
