Topic	Have you ever told a police officer thank you for your service?

After handing me back my license he said get it fixed and he'll let me on my way. I say, "Thank you officer, and be safe. There's a lot of anti-cop stuff out there right now but there are plenty of people out here who appreciate all you do for our community to keep it safe. There are good cops out there." He gives me a big smile and says, "Thank you, I appreciate that. Have a good one." I don't envy their jobs right now, it must be beyond fucked and scary to be a cop now.
