THE DANES ARE VICTORIOUS

We did it! We completed a spaceship and won the game! France was making a powerplay for a citystate so I guess we'll never know if they'd have taken Almaty/Heliopolis. Still amazed at China just going ham at the end. We ended the game 3rd in score behind Austria and Portugal, who took a huge jump after taking Beijing and their like 20 world wonders.

Thoughts on the game, I think that's the last time I'm gonna play on Earth because it's predictable, unless I do random. It kinda took some suspense out of my favorite part of the game, exploration, because I could guess the general locations of the landmasses. Key moment, definitely managing to get France/Portugal/Indonesia/Denmark vs Portugal going, as that reined in Austria just enough for the win. They were pretty close as it was to a science AND diplomatic victory, there's no telling how much 4 extra cities would have helped.
