What if you buy more than one at the same time?

It can still apply. Just finish both/all before buying new games.

I can play a game for ages, but the problem is not being able to stick to one class or what ever. In BL2 I had dozens of characters as an example. And this is also why I can never get good at games like SC2 since I jump between the races so much and can never really master one since I get bored and jump to another.

This isnt really a problem unless you have to master something. Personally, I use to do this as a kid. Id have multiple files for a game to try out all the characters and stuff like that. Its not a bad idea, either. Its gotten me to try out characters who were really fun that I may have never played as is I only picked one or a couple different ones. And in certain games, it can help you to understand how the other person is playing to make it easier to work with or against them...

How about games like Rimworld or Oxygen Not Included, where it's expected/required to change focus once in a while?

Oh. That could work. Or a game where you have to either change things up often or change characters a lot can help with keeping a game feeling fresh... maybe...
