We haven't made much headway in terms of territory in the Alliance War, but we have made quite a dent in their logistics, as we have ships cutting their territories in two, with the ships sitting in the canal between them picking off units.

The issue is that Ragusa and Florence, two coastal city states that were our primary targets, suddenly ramped up their city defense to where our current forces were inadequate. However, we now have battleships, and have switched our target to Hong Kong, which currently sits north of us and next to Indonesia. Indonesia has been pelting Hong Kong consistently, so we have decided make that our new immediate target for our remade military to speed that invasion up, as we have deemed it wiser to focus on targets one at a time as a group.

Meanwhile, Portugal took over the city-state of Bogota, who was allied with Austria. Hopefully our new strategy leads to better results, before our allies decide to end the conflict.

While all of this is going on, the International Games are going on! We have decided to dedicate two of our cities to that, we should be able to reap some good rewards from that. Meanwhile, Copenhagen will continue battleship production, while Thebes will continue building itself up as a city. It still has a bit of catching up to do after its conquering.
