Last update for the night, man that was a long session. Turn 184. Many things have happened since the last update:
-We ran into France, who is situated from what I can best tell, in where Europe would be.
-China founded the world congress, allowing us to discover the final civ, Egypt, who is situated below France. The two countries are at war.
-Portugal, Austria, and China have all denounced each other. Portugal has declared war on Austria, and China is plotting against Portugal. India denounced China and Portugal.
-Our spy has stolen THREE techs from China's capital of Beijing with them none the wiser. The man is a god it seems. Perhaps China is too focused on wonders to protect their cities from espionage.
-Our economy is burgeoning, with the East India Company expected to help our income increase drastically once we max out our trading ships. We are the happiest nation in the world as well! We are routinely keeping around 500 gold in stock to help buy buildings to catch the newer cities up in terms of infrastructure. Faith-wise, we have a modest intake, mostly garnered from friendly city-states. We did found Protestantism though, and have already enhanced it. All in all, as long as China doesn't pull a Poland this early, I like our chances at catching the field and increasing our score. Being sort of tucked away from the rest of the world right now has allowed us to forgo military expenses in favor of building our cities.
