My opinion is we both agreed we wanted kids but we never discussed a timeline so if it was that important to have them early on for her then she should have brought it up. My ex and I discussed all this prior to marriage so the timeline to have 2 kids I was cool with it. We pretty much started trying shortly after marriage. IIRC she said 2 or 3 kids if she doesn't get a girl (which she didn't get) and I mentioned maybe a 3rd based on how things go. So it wasn't set in stone. I notice I'm more than willing to compromise and if things don't go my way I can shrug it off where as she gets moody and stuff. Not fun. Plus she likes to show off and gets envy/jealous which is annoying especially on social media. In the end I'm glad it ended it was bitter sweet.
