One would be stupid not to. China factually has a larger military and it would be naive to assume they dont have the same technology. If they Chinese military deployed like the US does they would decimate any country they invaded.

Already debunked this wrong-headed claim -- Post #35 - "Although your point is very poorly phrased, I'm assuming it refers to China's number of troops. The problem there is that ground troops haven't won wars since... well, it's been quite a while."

Beyond that, China claims to have 2m active duty troops, which is probably a bullshit number anyway. That's compared to the US's 1.4m so, even if it was true, it's still a matter of one very large force vs another. However, like I already noted, ground troops haven't been the deciding factor in wars in ages (and that's before going in the difference between equipment whereas the US has better guns and other weapons for ground personnel). Meanwhile the US has 13,000 military aircraft to Russia's 3,000 and China's mere 2,00. Aircraft are one of the biggest deciding factors in conventional wars, replacing both naval superiority and ground superiority.

China's added troops might as well just be fodder for aircraft.

In terms of tanks, the sources I've checked vary by number by they all seem to agree that Russia has the most by far. China has slightly more than the US, but the US already has aerial and naval superiority which provide far greater support in addition to the fact that the US doesn't have to worry about land wars against its neighbors.

By number, the US has the third-largest navy in terms of vessels but is generally considered to lead the world in terms of strength because it's looking at number of vessels rather than the individual vessels. The US has toned down a lot of their navy in favor of -- you guessed it -- aircraft! Some of the US's most potent naval craft are aircraft carriers (it also has the most in the world) because, again, aircraft win conventional wars.

The US forced them into the situation theyre in now by testing bombs and flexing. The US did the same to Germany. Why Italy was left alone I have no idea. I guess without Germany and Japan, Italy doesnt offer much. Japan is more than capable of defending itself. And the US basically does the same thing in the way of attacking.

You mean the US beat them handily? And forced them to disarm which is why they're much weaker today than they should be? It's almost like the US is the world's most powerful nation or something.
