Many police departments are run by poc, most cities where protests are happening are run by democrats. You can vote them out and elect... a republican? Doubt that's what people want. For policy change the only thing people are saying is abolish the police, which taken at face value is a bad idea. Reducing the scope of police work also wouldn't do much unless a plethora of laws that define what crimes are and if they lead to jail time are changed. Unlike the civil rights movement of the 60s,there aren't any leaders today to provide a clear goal. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
