Hacker: Well, anyway, why are we bugging Hugh Halifax? Is he talking to the Russians?
Humphrey: No, the French, actually. That's much more serious.
Hacker: Why?
Humphrey: The Russians already know what we're doing.

Humphrey: One can be too self-effacing.
Bernard: I thought we were supposed to be faceless?
Humphrey: They don't show your face on radio.

This was one of the best eps of the season -- Humphrey being indiscreet on his radio interview because he thought the broadcast was over. It's definitely no coincidence that many of Yes Minister's best episodes are Humpy being up a creek without a government-issued paddle, lmao.




Going to watch the one-hour Party Games tomorrow and that'll be it for the older seasons of Yes Minister. I'm gonna miss these blokes, especially since I've heard the newer season doesn't really compare. That's almost a foregone conclusion, though.
