I think Joe Biden is inoffensive enough for most of these Republicans who've turned on Trump, but honestly, I imagine their change in support has little to do with Trump's abysmal handling of this situation and his being the most unabashedly bigoted President in like 50 years (though that makes a good public reason). They're probably just tired of sucking the guy's dick. These people are rich and powerful and certainly unused to kissing the ring the way they've had to the last three years. I think a lot of these people would not turn on Trump if Bernie was the nominee. But, these people are pretty useless for a general election.
