| Suprak the Stud 06/01/20 10:51:06 PM #24: | A lot of us here are against looting. There is just like forty more important things going on that it is hard to get that worked up about it. I expect some subset of the population to be dumb and do dumb things to exploit a tragedy. I am less understanding of systematic oppression, the murder of a black man by the police (that three other officers just watched), and the subsequent strong arm reaction from the White House and police throughout the country. People keep conflating the looters with the protestors in general, and then when a cop shoves over an old man who was just standing there or they tear gas people exercising their right to protest or punch a cameraman in the face or arrest yet another news crew, go "oh well but looting is bad too". --- Moops?
