11. Julia Carter (12th place)
Julia Carter's screen time on Survivor 38 was very small, and I feel bad about that for her, because she is clearly a big fan of the show and really wanted to prove herself and be a role model to young black women, and she was largely robbed of that opportunity. Even though she was in the majority right up until her devastating boot, she received very few confessionals and was pretty much presented as a secondary member of the alliance, despite clearly being a smart woman with her head in the game. She didn't let her Survivor experience go to waste though - she called out others' bullshit (including ignorant racial remarks) both in the edit and in post-game interviews, and even though she was mostly presented as a background character, I give her the benefit of the doubt and say she would have been a good, interesting, and occasionally very fun character if the edit had done her justice, so I put her very slightly on the positive side of neutral.
