Metal Gear Solid 5.

After you're told to infiltrate the same place for the 5th time it gets pretty boring. I'm not a fan of the mission format in general, and the story was worse than MGS4 somehow. And the deployment cost basically meant there wasn't a huge reason to be unlocking and using the best equipment, because using it was super expensive in it itself, not just the already high unlock cost. It whole equipment system was seeming created to promote pay to win, as you can massively increase your resource intake by paying real money.

In general I'm not a huge fan of games without any story. "Here's a gun go kill things, etc." doesn't motivate me, but that's a personal preference.

If were talking about industry critics, the fact that Paper Mario: Sticker Star sits at an average of 75% shows their inability to be harsh toward certain games when it's obvious that the game is flawed on the mechanical and conceptional level even if you dislike story in games. Sure, there are some people who legitimately like Sticker Star, that's fine, but I have a hard time believing almost no critics thought the game was bad.
