The article I read implied he was a threat to their other children and just flat out didn't like any of them but would cling to and do well with other people. If it wasn't working out, it wasn't working out and at least they found a solution. The real issue is that this was the best solution to a problem that their greed, selfishness, and vanity created. They were toying with real lives for youtube money and online clout.
