Huxley has been a part of their youtube channel for years as the family detailed their joy of having a new son their in their lives...until now. They have 4 biological children who added "Do i feel like a failure as a mom? Like 500 percent" They have 717,000 subs on Youtube and have big sponsor partner such as Big Lots, TJ Maxx and Danimals yogurt They cited medical privacy concerns for not explaining in detail why they gave up Huxley up and stated it was because he had autism and brain trauma But people on twitter blasted the couple and accused them of adopting Huxley as a STUNT to gain viewers where one wrote "She adopted a child for views and then got rid of him and treated him like a brand deal" Another said "I never watched that Myka Stauffer youtube mom, but i am RAGING over the fact that they rehomed their adopted special needs son to another family" Another wrote "You adopted him solely for the attention it would give you and now you're giving him away, unbelievable" But Myka said it wasn't her fault when she made the difficult decision and claim it was for Huxley's OWN BENEFIT!! Yeah it's going to be hard to take care of him, but that's what life is. I feel absolutely terrible for that kid. I have an adopted brother, I view him as blood. No. We (i.e. society) abort nearly a million of the unborn, in the US alone, due to them being screened for Down Syndrome and other disabilities, or as a financial burden, or really for any or no reason at all. A lot of other countries dont even record their numbers accurately, if at all. I am Ok with this, and so are most adults. The article I read implied he was a threat to their other children and just flat out didn't like any of them but would cling to and do well with other people. If it wasn't working out, it wasn't working out and at least they found a solution. The real issue is that this was the best solution to a problem that their greed, selfishness, and vanity created. They were toying with real lives for youtube money and online clout.
