He was compelling in MvGX because he transformed from a neurotic outsider to a legitimate threat to win the game, much like Holly in Nicaragua (who really should have been his female counterpart this season). This season, because he was in the majority alliance from the beginning, he acted like he was one of the "cool kids," but in reality, he was the least-influential member of the Lesu alliance and actually really struggled to find his place strategically, stuck between trying to be best pals with Kelley/Lauren/Wardog and being Rick's Mini Me. He voted with the majority a lot, but it was almost always just to vote with the majority and not actually what he wanted to do. He wasn't a good player, he was just a tagalong. And for someone who was once a rootable underdog, that's a pretty harsh downfall. It wasn't fun, it just pissed me off. 15.
