Do you think wearing a mask shows "weakness"?

A small trailer trash Texas Bar has BANNED customers who come inside wearing a MASK even though it's adhering to social distancing measures from COVID-19 as it was posted in a bid to STOP SNITCHERS!!

Liberty Tree Tavern in Elgin, a rural town with a population of 10,000 has a sign on the door advising those who wear a mask to go somewhere else as it says "Due to our concerns for our citizens, if they feel the need to wear a mask, then they should probably stay home until it's safe"

Kevin Smith, the owner of that dive posted it there as a message to "cowards" who wanted to enforce lockdown guidelines where bars are only allowed 25% capacity

He said "It's more of a pushback, the snitches and the contract tracers out there. This is still a rural country. If you feel weak enough to wear a mask out in public, then don't come to my business. In fact, yall can just stay at home and be scared"

The sign has split the community where only 52 tested positive

Ross Owens says "I think that's a risk, i think that's foolish. They're taking chances they don't need to take, especially if they're in public service"

But Charles Chamberlain says "I'm a stage 4 cancer survivor. It's just a choice. He just put that up there to let people know if they aren't feeling good, then the maybe shouldn't come. Everything is keeping safe distances, they aren't bunching up"

Some businesses are requiring customers to wear masks while others let them decide

Sherill Scheier, owner of ETX Travel who says she doesn't know anyone personally that's gotten the virus or has died but she's got a mask on standby for customers even though she doesn't wear one herself as she also says they are a small tough town and don't have large crowds so she feels safe already

There has been a steady split on masks as many still decide to wear them but are shamed by others who scream at them to "take it off" and are called "weak" for bowing to the government recommendations of masks to protect themselves from COVID-19

Do you see wearing masks as a sign of "weakness"?
