Holdo is a cool concept, and Leia needs a foil to play off of. Sacrificing her in the way they did, in my opinion, only sucked because of the notion that hyperspeed had somehow never been utilized in thousands of years as a weapon. But sidestepping that aspect makes her sacrifice noble. Corrupting Rey and letting Revan serve the Kylo Ren role in that endeavor deserved more time. I like characters who fall, and I think the fall is only a fall if we actually let it truly happen. And, you KNOW we're opening Episode IX with "THE DEAD SPEAK". We end the movie with it happening, and I think that would have been a good way to end things with the original Episode VIII. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
