| Topic | Does Jonathan Blow have the potential to be one of the best game devs ever? |
| Aecioo 05/27/20 11:23:10 AM #1: | I don't know why this popped in my head, but I started to think about him early in his career and comparing him to some of the great film directors of all time. He's had two outrageous hits (Braid, The Witness) and takes a lot of time to make his vision. He's not pumping out games every three years like a big developer, and can get to the status of a Tarantino or Kubrick in that when his next game comes out it's almost an 'event'. I know a lot of this is hyperbole but he's one of the only devs who has a clear vision and will work for years to accomplish it to critical acclaim. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
