Topic	p0 ranks chrono trigger and i guess cross songs and radical dreamers maybe

Not particularly fond of the more dry section starting at 1:02. It does have that nice air of mystery with the same gentle piano sound as Girl Who Stole the Star. I guess it's like a mix of that and Days of Summer? Life ~ A Distant Promise is 6:32 uh oh. It seems to be the ending credits so I guess that makes sense, but apparently Radical Dreamers is also the ending theme? This is a great song packed with lots of emotion, perhaps overbearingly so but I don't really mind. The section at 0:54-2:04 is a really strong start, if a bit repetitive...and then basically repeats two more times??? I mean, 2:05-4:15 is definitely different, but I think 4:15-6:32 just repeats it, and they're still both really similar to the beginning. If this song had more variety it would rank comfortably above To Far Away Times, so it's disappointing that it did so little with its length. I'm really curious how much GameBop would hate this song (that was one of the first things that came to mind for some reason). There is a comment saying "Not even Chrono Trigger music is this good" with 16 replies which was funny. Mystery from the Past isn't so good as far as the jingles go. The high piano notes are kinda grating and it doesn't end on a nice-sounding chord either. Also it's just too cheesy to sound like it's describing an intriguing mystery...feels like it would fit better accompanying some black-and-white prop comedy skit followed by a laugh track.
