I am feeling better than I was last week. I did a full-body workout on Monday and have given myself yesterday and today for resting. I am lifting full-body again tomorrow and again Saturday, thus reverting back to my every three days policy. I feel way less burnt out compared to the four to five days in a row of isolated body area routines.

I've never even tried a split, just sounds way too taxing. What made you switch in the first place if I may ask?
