But if masks really are nearly this effective, universal usage might be able to get us most of the way to where we need to go. (Naively blocking 75% of new infections would drop R below 1, but the effect should be somewhat diminished by the fact that very close contacts (e.g. family members) would often have multiple times that they would have been infected, but they can only actually be infected once). --- Congrats to azuarc, GotD2 Guru champ! ...
