My thoughts on All Fictional would be to do a 128 character contest, designate 16 spots to all fictional characters, using the cream of the crop only, and have them evenly dispersed across the bracket, with each division having two outsiders, one on each side. You could even go as far as having one outsider in each seed, like Batman being the one seed of his division, Goku being a two seed on the other side, Spider-man being a three in the middle of the bracket, and someone a bit more fringe like James Bond is a 16 in Goku's division.

The cap is what keeps the contest grounded in video gaming culture, but with them all spread out, now the aim of the contest is seeing where all these characters land. If you want to think GameFAQs is going to reject the outsiders, having them mostly fall in the early rounds is a good strategy for bracket differentiation. If you think a few of these characters can hang with the Noble Niners, this gives a great chance to contend in climatic spots in the bracket like the Division finals, especially if the non-ficitional characters are seeded properly.
