I've read that some hallucinogenics have improved this for people. I'd love to try in a safe and clinical setting, but such things don't really exist.

You know, I've tried acid and shrooms twice each and none of the times has it worked. I wasn't doing it alone and it worked for others and I even took bigger doses the second time assuming that it was just because I'm a large man. Now I'm wondering if there is some connection there and the aphantasia could be involved somehow.
